ANVISA draft amendment on microbiological standards for food

The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) has published a draft amendment (Consulta Publica No. 1.238) that modifies the Normative Instruction - IN No. 161/2022 on the microbiological standards of foodstuffs.
The proposed changes are related to "mesophilic aerobes" and "mold and yeast" microbiological standards and their application.
