Millionaire fine for the distribution of misbranded dietary supplements

A Texas-based company has been fined USD 4.5 millions for distributing misbranded dietary supplements.
From September 2018 to July 2020, the company has been marketing the dietary supplements Epivar, Alpha Shredded and Laxobolic. The workout supplements, sold in 5 Star Nutrition retail locations, have been found to contain ingredients mislabeled as dietary ingredients or not listed on the product labels.
