New EU Regulation on sampling and analysis methods for mycotoxin content in foods

On 14 December 2023, the Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2782 establishing sampling and analysis methods for the control of mycotoxin content in foods and repealing Regulation (EC) No. 401/2006.
Method of sampling are set in Annex I of the Regulation depending on food category.
Criteria for sample preparation and for methods of analysis used for the control of the levels of mycotoxins in food are set in Annex II.
