EEC publishes draft amendment to the Technical Regulation on Food Safety

The Eurasian Economic Commission has published a draft amendment to the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On Safety of Food Products" (CU TR 021/2011).
The project of changes was prepared in order to establish schemes and procedures for the assessment of conformity on the basis of typical schemes of conformity assessment approved by the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission of April 18, 2018 No. 44.
There are no changes in relation to composition of food products as well as food requirements, production processes (manufacturing), storage, transportation.
Public comments must be sent by January 15, 2024.
