Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee to continue its work

The U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture (USDA) has announced that the work of the Dietary Guidelines 2025 Advisory Committee will continue. The committee will hold its third meeting on September 12-13, 2023, which will iinclude presentations from each subcommittee and full committee deliberation on progress made since the last meeting, including development of the draft protocol, review and synthesis of evidence, and plans for the committee's future work. A meeting agenda will be posted prior to the meeting on DietaryGuidelines.gov.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, the committee will also hear oral comments from the public.
