2ʹ-FL combined with galacto-oligosaccharides and/or inulin-type fructans in infant formula products

The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to permit the voluntary combination of 2'-fucosyllactose (2ʹ-FL) with galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and/or inulin-type fructans (ITF) in infant formula products. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. Pursuant to section 31 of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (FSANZ Act), FSANZ now calls for submissions to assist consideration of the draft food regulatory measure.
