Draft regulation of materials in contact with food for infants published

The Draft Sanitary Standard that regulates bisphenol A in varnishes and coatings used in packaging for foods intended for infants and young children, provides that the containers or material of the containers that come into contact with food intended for infants and children young; Infant formulas, follow-on or follow-up formulas, processed cereal-based foods or milk-based beverages and similar products specifically intended for young children, shall not contain varnishes or coatings containing bisphenol A (BPA).
