Draft Amendments to EAEU Regulation on Safety of Meat Notified to WTO

Russia notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of draft amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Technical Regulation (TR) on Safety of Meat and Meat Products via G/TBT/N/RUS/114. The draft measure will somewhat relax the TR requirements for nutrition labeling of meat products based on the relevant international experience and regulations, including those of the United States. The public comment period for the draft will close on July 12, 2021.
