FDA publishes draft regulation on food ingredient restriction and labeling: coffee leaf (Coffea arabica, Coffea canephora)

The project stipulates: If the coffee leaf is to be used as a food ingredient, it must be of the Arabica and Robusta varieties, and it can only be used as a raw material to prepare tea. At the same time, the labeling should contain the warning: "Children, pregnant women and people who breastfeed should avoid its consumption."
