Dec 30, 2024
The National Institute for Food and Drug Surveillance (INVIMA in Spanish) announces a series of measures that will substantially reduce times in the granting of sanitary registrations, marketing authorizations and modernize processes in procedures and services.
The actions are aimed at facilitating access to the services offered by the health authority within its competencies, so that users can obtain more efficient results.
Part of the strategy consists of offering online services in real time, in which users will be able to know the progress, assignments and results throughout the life cycle of the procedure.
As a result, time and costs are reduced in processes related to: food and beverages, drugs and biological products, cosmetics, toiletries, pesticides, household hygiene products and medical devices, through the issuance of automatic and semi-automatic registrations.
