New requirements for food contact materials come into force

Ukraine has notified the adoption of the Order No 1743 of 02 October 2023, issued by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, providing the requirements for the declaration of conformity of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and the list of documents supporting the declaration of conformity.
The Order was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 13 November 2023 and published on 19 December 2023.
Materials and articles intended to come into contact with food which were produced before the entry into force of the order can circulate until their expiration date.
