Launched consultation on post-implementation review of the food contact materials regulation

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has published a consultation on the post implementation review of the "The Materials and Articles in Contact with Food (England) Regulations 2012".
The report seeks to establish whether the objectives of the 2012 Regulations were achieved and currently remain relevant. It also looks at whether there have been any unintended effects on stakeholders resulting from the implementation of the 2012 Regulations and similarly on consumers’ perspectives on the 2012 Regulations.
