The National Agency for Drug and Food Control (BPOM in Indonesian) ratified Types of microorganisms that can be used in processed foods, which includes 16 types of probiotic microorganisms, such as Bacillus coagulans, Bifidobacterium animalis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, etc.
