Royal Decree on bottled water and spring water for human consumption approved.

The Council of Ministers has approved Royal Decree Nº 1798/2010, which reinforces the safety and control of prepared bottled water and spring water. The regulation updates the aspects that are considered fundamental to guarantee the safety of bottled waters intended for human consumption and incorporates new indicators and maximum limits in chemical substances to those previously established.

In addition, the Royal Decree incorporates the actions to be carried out in the event of the detection of prohibited or unauthorized pesticides or pesticides in a situation different from those already authorized.
