The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) published changes to Annex 3 of the Ordinance on Genetically Modified Foodstuffs (GMFO). The modification concerns annex 3 of the GMFO. This annex contains a list of GMO products that may be put on the Swiss market without a specific authorisation by the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office. There will be 20 new entries into that list:
1,4 alpha-D-glucane glucanohydrolase (EC 22.214.171.124), 1,4 alpha-D-glucane glucanohydrolase (EC 126.96.36.199), Asparaginase (EC 188.8.131.52), Three types of Bêtagalactosidase (EC 184.108.40.206), Carboxypeptidase D (EC 220.127.116.11), Chymonsine (EC 18.104.22.168), Endo-1,4 alpha-xynalase (EC 22.214.171.124), Glucane 1,4-alpha-glucosidase (EC 126.96.36.199), Four types of Glucane 1,4-alpha-maltohydrolase (EC 188.8.131.52), Glutaminase (EC 184.108.40.206), Leucyl-aminopeptidase (EC 220.127.116.11), Peroxidase (EC 18.104.22.168), Pullulanase (EC 22.214.171.124), Subtilisine (EC 126.96.36.199), Triacylglycérol lipase (EC 188.8.131.52).
