Government to develop a climate label for foodstuffs

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries will allocate resources for the development of a climate label over the course of a year.
A climate label developed by the government should ensure that there is a common climate label that consumers can trust and that is widely used by the retail trade and the food industry.
