New hygiene requirements for edible caseins and caseinates approved

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food announces the adoption of Resolution No. 1534 “On Approval of Hygienic Requirements for Edible Caseins and Caseinates” adopted on March 27, 2025.

The Resolution establishes that edible caseins and caseinates that comply with the requirements in force prior to the entry into force of this Order, but do not comply with the provisions of the Hygienic Requirements for Edible Caseins and Caseinates approved by this Order, may be produced and/or put into circulation for three years from the date of entry into force of this Order. Such foodstuffs may circulate until their date of consumption or until the expiration of their minimum shelf life.

The Resolution was published on June 3, 2025 and will enter into force on December 3, 2025.
