Based in Venezuela, Yury is our Latin America coordinator. For more than 14 years Yury has worked on regulation and food policies in the region. He advises multinational firms and industry associations in a wide variety of topics, including labeling, GMOs, ingredient permissibility, formula reviews, registration and notifications, etc. 

Yury is responsible for our free monthly newsletter, Food Law News Around the World, which has established itself as an essential reference in this field.

Yury has a degree in Nutrition by the Universidad Central de Venezuela and a Masters Degree on food quality and food safety by the Universitat de València.
