Food Additive Code updated by MFDS

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) unveiled the latest version of Food Additive Code. The amendments are specified as below: (a) The categories of “caramel color” and “glycerin esters of fatty acids” are revised; (b) The specifications of concoction are clarified; (c) Six additives are permitted to be used in glucose y (d) Flavoring’s usage standard is established.
