Published draft amendment for the technical standard for confectionery products without cocoa

Revision of the partially Mandatory Standard SI 1006, dealing with marzipan. This draft standard revision is based on the German Document "Leitsätze für Ölsamen und daraus hergestellte Massen und Süßwaren" dealing with oilseeds and raw materials for sweets, from 27 January 1965 and its update of 08 January 2010.

All sections of this draft standard become mandatory after the entry into force of this revision. Both the old standard edition and the notified new draft apply for a period of at least two years from the entry into force of this revision. During this time, products may be tested according to the old or the new standard.
