POLAND CONTINUES WITH ADOPTION OF NUTRIENT LIMITS FOR VITAMIN B6, MAGNESIUM, IRON AND COPPER

An additional 4 resolution have been adopted setting nutritional limits for the use of nutrients in food supplements.
The Panel concluded to the following intake limits:
Vitamin B6 - 18 mg per day
Magnesium - 400 mg per day
Iron - 20 mg per day for the general population / 30 mg per day for pregnant women (a warning should be included for pregnant women to consult their doctor before taking iron supplements)
Copper - 2 mg per day
