Brazil
Feb 03, 2020
This normative instruction establishes lists of microbiological standards for foods ready for human consumption. It is applied in a complementary way to the Resolution of the Collegiate Board - RDC No. 331 of December 23, 2019, which establishes microbiological standards for food and its application.
The investigation of foodborne disease outbreaks (FBD) should consider clinical and epidemiological data as directed by the Ministry of Health. Foods, except commercially sterile foods, must comply with the microbiological standards established in Annex I of this Normative Instruction.
